Welcome to PlusCamp Sande

PlusCamp Sande  is located by the Loen Lake in one of Norway's most scenic valleys, Lodalen. The grounds are surrounded by majestic mountains,waterfalls and glaciers. When you get to Loen, you turn right towards Lodalen/Kjenndalsbreen/-glacier,and drive 4,5 km thru the valley.

Sande camping is a good starting point for both hiking in the mountains and the woods, guided glacier trips and day trips by car. (For more information look under link to Loen info.) The campground

There is room for about 80 sites, that are divided between tents, campers and motorhomes. There are about 60 electrical plug ins found all over the campgrounds. Approximately 40 of the sites are reserved for campers that are seasonal residents. At the campground there is no marked or numbered sites, so when You arrive You are free to pick your preffered place. Most of the sites are in the form of terraces.

Sanitary facilities

The sanitary facilities have 2 sections with shower/toilets (male/female). Both sections have saunas, thar are heated every tuesday, thursday and saturday from 18.00 - 22.00. They are complimentary. First take a sauna and immediately after take a refreshing swim in the lake Loen. Individual rooms with handicapped facilities, are available. Washing facilities with washer and dryer. Kitchen with oven, refrigerator/freezer and microwave. Next to the sanitary facilities a sanitary dumpsite for mobile homes and busses are available.

Activities 

For the children we hav a small playground with our most populare activity, the trampoline. You will also find table tennis and air hockey.
